PROJECTS

Our Past Projects

Our masonry firm works with general contractors throughout South Carolina and the surrounding area to deliver top-notch brick and stone projects. Our vast portfolio includes multi-million dollar projects in the education, retail, medical, government, financial, and community fields. Our expertise shines through in each and every finished product. No matter the project, Mid-State Masonry has a solid reputation of delivering top-notch masonry work on time and within budget.

Education

Our experience in the field of educational buildings includes projects at every level of education. From inviting elementary schools to stately college residence halls, our work can be seen throughout South Carolina’s beautiful educational campuses. We partnered with China Construction to complete the University of South Carolina’s Honors Residence Hall. Opened in 2009, the residence hall houses 537 students in a co-ed environment that includes amenities like an in-hall dining facility and a coffee bar for those late-night study breaks.

Retail and Financial

From your local Walgreens to the neighborhood First Citizens Bank, you may have already seen some of our retail and financial work. We believe that quality masonry work elevates a commonplace retail space to a polished, chic addition to the community. We specialize in shopping centers, hotels, banks, and stand-alone retail spaces that require the elegant look of masonry facades.

Medical

At Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Center in Cayce, South Carolina, the facility’s nearly 400 residents enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the beautiful 39-acre campus. The masonry work we completed on the facilities at Still Hopes perfectly complements this picturesque setting. In addition to our work at Still Hopes, our larger medical projects include the parking garage at Lexington Medical Center and the offices t Lexington Pediatric Dental.

Government

Government buildings are known for their regal facades. Our custom brickwork at the US Federal Annex in Augusta, Georgia, and the Corley Mill Fire Station in Lexington, South Carolina, provides elegance as well as longevity to these stately buildings.

Community

We were proud to partner with general contractor R.W. Allen & Associates to build the Kroc Center in Augusta, Georgia to enrich the lives of area families. The founders of the worldwide McDonald’s franchise, the Kroc family, donated in excess of 2 billion dollars to be used for community centers throughout the United States. Inside the brick walls of these centers, children and families are exposed to many different kinds of people, arts, and activities that would not normally be a part of their daily lives.

At Mid-State Masonry, we believe that the quality of our work speaks for itself. We are happy to showcase our work online, but invite you to stop by any of our projects and take a look for yourself.
